JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the landscape crew leader is responsible for the strategic oversight and operation of his or her landscape crew. Will be required to work with both the Operations Manager and Account Manager for effective scheduling, staffing, equipment and resources planning. The crew leader will be working on the jobsite daily while managing the individual workers and ensuring the job is done safely, efficiently, and with high quality. They will also be the single point of contact for any customer requests or feedback that arises on the jobsite. This is a dynamic roll that will require leadership and a commitment to quality and our Team values of safety, integrity, and honesty.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience as a foreman/crew leader for 4+ years

Ability to be on time to work everyday

Ability to follow instructions, execute, and produce results

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong time management skills

Able to lead a team while taking direction from multiple sources

Be a self-starter, able to productively work for extended periods of time with minimal direct supervision

Self-motivated, well organized, and ability to show professionalism
-
Must have a positive and friendly attitude

Valid US Driver’s license
TASKS
-
Lead crew members at each jobsite ensuring the requirements are met and that the job is completed safely on time and with quality

Works alongside crew members while delegating tasks according to workload, available staff, equipment, and time

Ensure a safe jobsite environment for your crew members, customers, and pedestrians

Attend project briefings with Operations Manager to receive job details, instructions, schedule, etc

Ensuring your crew members are ready each morning (trucks and equipment fueled and loaded)

Safely driving the company vehicle, equipment, and your crew to and from each job site
-
Single point of contact for any customer requests while on the jobsite

Communicate any quality issues and daily project status to management

Scheduling service work orders on equipment, vehicles and trailers (if needed)

Complete final job inspections
PAY
-
$22+ per hour (based on experience)
