ELEVATED ESTATE WALLS
PROJECT BACKGROUND
In this unique project, our client requested a raised deck patio to eliminate the need for several steps down from the rear sliding door. Working with the natural grade of the yard, we were able to create a raised patio with a 3' landing leading from the sliding door to the patio itself. Walls extend an additional few feet above the patio surface serving as both functional and cosmetic additions to the patio itself.
We used Unilock Estate wall block which has a nice textured face that really pairs nicely with the integrated undermount LED lighting, casting beautiful shadows across the surface. The walls are accented by 2 strips of Copthorne block in the basalt color, matching the landing and patio border. The patio exit steps are accented by 2 pillars, which will ultimately lead down to the pool for phase 2 of the project!
